And the story...

This is my favourite FFX-2 Rikku costume! I had planned to wear it alone, but I heard that my friend Enaya wanted to make Yuna gunner. Then, I showed the Gunners pictures to Luce who wanted to make Paine someday, and we made a group. ^^
I'm very disappointed of how my costume looks. :( I had SO many trouble while sewing it... The top especially gave me a hard time, I had to restart it several times, I still don't know why. I also failed at painting the gradient on the side skirt and had to redo one without gradient, I'm missing many details, and the leggings were a pain to make because the fabric I had chosen was non-stretch. And to cap it all, the holes of the red and blue pearls I had bought for the wig were too small, and I couldn't put them on the little braids. =_= The wig itself wasn't bad, though, and the costume was easily recognizable, but I really would have liked it to be perfect, and it was not. :( Anyway, making this group was a great experience! We really had fun together, and we even had a Vincent Valentine on stage as a guest star. ^^
