And the story...

I'd been wanting to make a King of Fighters group for at least 4 years, so when I finally managed to do it, it was like a dream coming true! There are many characters I like in the series, but I chose Shermie for this group because I liked her style so much, and cause she was the first one I had wanted to cosplay.
Organizing a group with more than 30 people was a really stressing experience and I don't think I will do it again! But I don't regret anything, it was such a great experience, and it remains one of my best cosplay memories. In the end, we were 33 people doing 36 characters. I really, really thank all the persons who entered my group and did their best to make their costumes!
The costume wasn't so easy to make. Plus, I'm not really satisfied of some parts, but that's my fault >_> On the morning of the convention, after a very short night dedicated to finish the costume, I accidentally poured tea on my almost finished jacket. =_= I tried to wash it but a big brownish mark remained, so I threw the jacket away and started to sew a new one in a hurry. That's why my jacket doesn't have any shape ^^; Because of this, I didn't have time to try to make the boots, but now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have succeeded in such a short time.
My favourite part of the costume is the wig! It was my first time cutting and styling a wig, and I was very happy with how it came out. It took me something like 1 hour to make it. People often asked me if I could see, I must say it was quite difficult, but I managed to take the metro to the convention with the wig on my head without having any problem. It was very funny to see the people staring at me, thinking I could not see them XD
