And the story...

Minako/Sailor Venus is my favourite female character ever, I think ^^ So, when I was at BD Expo in 1999 and heard a girl who wanted to organize a Sailor Moon group for the following year, I immediately told her I would be part of it as Venus.
It was my 1st time cosplaying, and I didn't know how to sew, nor where to begin @_@ Fortunately, my grandmother was actually able to sew, and thanks to her, my costume ended quite nice! Without her help, I'm pretty sure I would have made nothing but an ugly and crappy outfit vaguely looking like a sailor suit. We made the costume together over the summer, or rather, she made the costume with a bit of my help. XD And I was really happy with the result!
I've worn it 3 times: first in the big group with almost all the Sailors and others characters, second alone (but I met other Sailors there ^^), and third with some friends because I didn't have anything new to wear. (by the way, thanks to Nelene for the wig!) I really have wonderful memories with this costume ^__^

Partners?

Aw, so many people I can't remember! We were so many in the group that I didn't know everybody. The girls you can see on the pics below are: Diane as Jupiter (last pic), Pauline as Saturn, Nelene as Pluto, and Rowen as perfect Uranus. :)
